You know....I think that a POSSIBLE solution to this "what is and is not
appropriate for this list" would be to just limit who gets access to this
list to museum employees ONLY.
Not very fair huh??
I myself am in agreement with those who feel that students or those that are
trying to get into the museum field SHOULD be able to freely post their
requests for job info/leads etc.
Why, even I posted a resume and my qualifications to this list when I
first joined almost a year ago. I figured that those in the field might be
able to give me some positive leads...where else should someone go to for
advice other than to those who have excelled in the positions that are
sought after??
Believe me it's pretty tricky trying to locate a museum position and I have
been in the same position as these museum hopefuls.
PLEASE try not to be so harsh...I think that all the bickering by the
"professionals" on this list should just stop.
I welcome your comments.
