The Virginia Museum of Natural History has the following full-time position
available immediately:

Research Assistant
Paleontology/Geology Depts.

        Experienced full-time technician needed to perform specialized
technical procedures  for paleontology and geology research.  Duties include
preparing fossils, rocks and minerals for research, analytical and collection
purposes.  Excellent computer skills necessary to provide scientific
publication, graphics and desktop publishing support. Must also be able to
accompany curators in field and initialize field work for research.
B.A./B.S. in related science preferred.  Starting salary $22,763 plus
benefits.
