Executive Director/CEO, Museums Alberta
Museums Alberta (Alberta Museums Association) is seeking a dynamic
individual to provide outstanding service in the areas of strategic
planning, leadership and visioning. The Executive Director/CEO will manage
human, financial and material resources, in order to accomplish the
Association's mission in accordance with Board policies. He/she will be a
focused, confident heritage professional with the ability to expand
senior-level relationships in the public- and private-sectors on behalf of
Alberta's museum community. A minimum of 5 years management experience in
the heritage/cultural fields and degree(s) in history, museum studies,
cultural management or a related field are required.
The position is based in Edmonton and is a one-year contract (renewable on
proven performance). Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
