Early Bird Reduced Registration Fees For VSA '99 Available Through July 9th

http://museum.cl.msu.edu/vsa

Dear Colleagues
Visitor studies are truly "At the Heart of It All" at our museums, science
centers, aquariums zoos and parks.
Such studies help us understand our current and potential visitors, assist
us in exhibit and program design and enhance our funding and marketing
efforts.

Whether you are a museum professional, an educator, an evaluator or just
have a general interest in this area, you're invited to the Visitor Studies
Conference to be held in Chicago August 3-7, 1999.

- Ten workshops on conducting visitor studies
- Keynote speakers Robert Eisenberger and Paco Underhill - the psychology of
leisure and the anthropology of consumers
- More than 50 speakers on the use of visitor studies, exhibit and program
evaluation, informal learning, leisure studies and audience research and
development
- Social events and tours to get acquainted and make new contacts.

The full program and registration information is available on the Visitor
Studies Association web site at
http://museum.cl.msu.edu/vsa
or get a print copy by contacting Conference Solutions at (847) 550 9353
