Sylvia,
Cheekwood Museum is in the process of planning our permanent collection
reinstallation. It will be our second placement of the collection in
thematic arrangement. We find that this format maximizes our collection
which like many museums, has its share of chronological gaps. The thematic
format also lends itself to our building, a 1930 mansion that was originally
a private home.

If you would like more information about our program you may email me at

Good luck with your project.

Celia Walker, Senior Curator
Cheekwood Museum of Art
