hi everyone

i have growing newspaper colection and i've been looking for ways to
preseve them (they'r ca. 50- 60 years). i've been looking at some of the
acid free newspaper boxes at Carr-McLean (?) in Ontario but i also found
in their catalogue a large scrap book, which is newspaper size, has acid
free paper etc. it is $89 Canadian, and works out cheper than a load of
boxes. but, does anyone know if this is effective, i think they call it
the New Big Book. I'm a student, so costs must be kept as low as possible
for the moment. i also have an old WWI map and i was hoping to do the
same thing witht aht. if anyone can suggest what he best relaible and
cost-effective means are to preserve a newspaper collection, i'd
appreicaite it.

thanks adrienne
