Can you help find the missing pieces of: "Thou Shalt not Kill"?

Leicester City Museums have launched a world wide appeal to locate pieces of a 1930s anti - war painting by German artist Johannes Mattheus Koetz (1895-1971) which were thought to be lost forever. Koetz had to flee Nazi Germany in 1937 and, to save the triptych, he cut it into many pieces which he distributed to trusted friends for safekeeping. Two pieces have recently turned up in Munich, Germany. The help of Museum list members in finding the missing pieces and/or any other information about the artist would be greatly appreciated. Pictures of the triptych and a list of contacts can be found on the Institute of Art and Law website at:

Leicester City Museums are planning an exhibition of Koelz's work for the year 2000 A.D.
