The Heritage Volunteer Charter and The Handbook for Heritage Volunteer
Managers will be launched on 22 March 1999 by Loyd Grossman (Chairman of
the Campaign for Museums) at the Museums & Galleries Commission, London
UK.

The Charter and Handbook are the results of a project on Volunteer
Training initiated by the British Association of Friends of Museums
(BAFM) with funding from the Carnegie UK Trust and the Pilgrim Trust.
