Hi.

We drymount all our exhibit labels on mat board.

Most of our gallery walls are covered with fabric to which velcro will cling.
I LOVE IT! I get 1/2" velcro dots with sticky back in rolls of a billion for
about $25US for 25 yards from US Slide Fasteners 617-426-3546 (Boston).

For the rest of the walls, which are painted plywood or MDO, I use 3M "Wall
Mounting Tabs". I get 1/2 x 3/4" 48 per box, 3M #7220 but I always order
enough for 3-4 years: they're cheap. These are easy to use, are foam based so
they stick to irregular surfaces well, & the adhesive rolls off the wall
easily. And I got the tip for them a couple of years ago right here on
Museum-L!

I hope this helps.

Steve.
