We are quite often filled to capacity ourselves, so we have had to simply
place a sign at the box office saying "We Are Temporarily Filled To
Capacity". We have found that those in line much prefer to know exactly
what the hold up is. However, to help avoid the possibility of those
waiting from leaving we had done some other things in the lobby to keep
their attention so they feel like their Museum Experience has already begun.

1) We installed two continuous run videos about what they are going to see
in the Museum, the history, etc.
2) We also place temporary exhibits in the Lobby which involve some reading.
These are generally related exhibits to the Museum, but on a broader subject
matter.
3) We also installed a third video with a few chairs around it which
sometimes shows another related video, or presently it shows our website,
which has a live camera feed in it.

These additions, have helped keep people in the area until the capacity is
lessened and we can resume again.
Hope these help.
