We have had several requests to share this exhibition management
information with the list again. So here it is...

THE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
a division of The American Federation of Arts

The Technical Assistance Program (TAP) makes available to institutions
or individuals an array of professional services for the planning,
implementation, and management of one-site or traveling exhibitions.
Organizers pay on a fee basis for TAP services and, if the exhibition
travels, receive participation fees from presenting institutions.

Services offered by TAP can be customized to suit each project. Fees
are determined by the extent of the assistance required. The Following
are only some of the services TAP can include:

Exhibition budget preparation and management
Loan negotiation
Itinerary Development
Administration of contracts
Coordination of exhibition publications
Development of educational materials
Coordination of and supervision of domestic and international
transportation
Registrarial supervision at each presenting institution
Exhibition insurance
Preparation of publicity and marketing materials
