EXHIBIT DESIGNER

Exhibits designer.  Mackinac State Historic Parks seeks an experienced and
creative individual to lead interpretive exhibit design and preparation for
AAM-accredited historical museum and park system in northern Michigan.  The
employee works independently on a wide range of exhibit displays requiring
graphic design skills, drafting and computer proficiency, familiarity with
interactive displays and fabrication processes, experience in writing bid
specifications, and sensitivity to conservation issues.  The employee must
have strong interpersonal relationship skills to work with staff teams and
independent contractors.  B.A. in related field and five to seven years of
experience are required.  Competitive salary DOE.  Open Immediately.  For a
