I have somehow deleted the original query...
In Boston, Massachusetts, there is the African American Meeting House,
located near the base of Beacon Hill on Smith Court.  The address
escapes me, but you might have luck (and get more information about
their exhibitions and programming) with the WEB pages maintained by the
Beacon Hill Times and the Beacon Hill Paper.
