Dear Kim -

Thank you!  Taking your response and many others into consideration, I find
this project humongouser by the minute.  I'm going to have to have some
strong words with the person who agreed to accept this collection in the
first place.  However, my responsibilities will end with pickup and
temporary storage.  I pity the poor folk who actually have to unravel the
mess and transcribe all the notes written on those mildewed insect-chewed
envelopes.  I will pass your note on to them.  By the way, should we just
go ahead and chuck the earlier negs into the freezer until we can deal with
them?  Would they be safe there?  Oh, well, back to the CoOL archives.
Sigh . . .
