Sandy - I'm doing a study for the University of Calgary (where I'm teaching)
to determine whether we should offer a graduate program in Museum Studies.
Part of the study involves assessing what's out there at present. I found an
excellent reference is Victor J. Danilov's "Museum Careers and Training",
1994, ISBN 0-313-28105-X. It should give you all the information you need -
at least what there was to that date. Good luck.
