If you have access to the WWW, look at the CoOL site (Conservation On-Line):

http://palimpsest.stanford.edu/ <http://palimpsest.stanford.edu/>

This is a great site with a lot of information on conservation including
what you should expect in your preparations for conservation programs,
conservation groups, and related resources.

I am currently considering majoring in art history and the sciences
looking towards the Art Conservation field. Does anyone have any
suggestions, advice, information, etc. on this field and what I can
do as
a college student to find out more about it and to get involved?
