A couple of questions tangentially related to the ongoing "advanced degree" discussion. Please reply off list as we may have reached saturation on this topic!

1. My sister is looking into going back to school to get an MBA. Her eventual goal is to be involved with the finanacial management of some sort of arts facility (I believe performing arts more than museum, per se). Can anyone recommend a business school that focuses on arts management?

2. Chris Dill, I believe, said that education, as evidenced by advanced degrees, is a convenient measure when evaluating job applicants. My question to those who are involved with screening applicants, particularly for financial managment positions: Does the name of the school matter? In other words, would someone who graduated from Harvard business school rate higher than someone who graduated from a school without national recognition? I have been told that the name does matter so I'd be interested to hear more opinions.

Thanks for your help -
