I agree with your approach!
There ARE students with the degree of design professionalism and creativity
to turn out excellent work. I have used this approach with some major
graphic assignments in Museums, and often what has been delivered has been
FRESH and exciting. How else does one gain experience?
I qualify the above by saying, that in all cases, they have had excellent
tutors who have been prepared to assist as required.
