Abatron does an excellent job. We have used it in repairing window sills in our antebellum home with marvelous results. Since it is impossible to replace a window sill with like quality of wood, the use of abatron will not only be longer lasting than a replacement with new wood but less expensive as well. Just be certain to follow the directions carefully, removing all decayed wood and replacing with abatron.

Subject: Abatron

Do any of you know about abatron? We have a rotting sill beam on an 1837
dogtrot loghouse and have been told that we can use abatron on them and
that they will be as strong as if we replaced them. We have our doubts
and would appreciate any input.
