Michael, you are so right!  I want a place to sit when I'm in galleries.
How else can I spend "quality" time with the exhibits? Standing hurts
after a while. I get tired of holding my coat. The air is hot and
stuffy. My mind wanders.
  I have been in only one "comfortable" museum in my life: the Louisiana
outside of Copenhagen. That's the only museum where I've found
comfortable chairs that one could move around---and windows, by gum,
with beautiful views! What a concept.   Art surrounded by sky, grass and
the sea.
   By the way, I complain about the same thing in department stores.
Whatever happened to providing chairs so you or your companion can rest
a minute? Geez. Would they break the bottom line that much?
