This advice would work if it weren't illegal. An anti-"assault" weapon gun
bill was passed by the New Jersey State Legislature in the early 1990s. The
AR-15 is officially classed as an 'assault' weapon and can't be sold by a
local firearms dealer nor purchased by the museum.

Here's my standard plea: Please, Please, Please confirm the legality and/or
appropriateness of any advice you receive on any open forum such as a
listserve.
