Believe you have right church but wrong pew. A.P.T. (Association for
Preservation Technology) has published articles anent your problem (but not
product that I can remember). Also the worth of a product is some what
dependent on the material on which it is used..hard woods being less able
to take in products than the softer woods. There is also a conservation
forum on the internet where you might get better information. You may have
a considerably more complex problem than is currently imagined. Good luck.
