        look beyond the urban museums out into the grass roots, where
        professional help is often truly needed but (without adequate funds)
        can't be recruited easily

As in the Brazoria County Historical Museum which is looking for a new
Curator of Collections and Exhibits!  Can't get much further into the
country than here--yet be only forty-five miles from the fourth largest
city in the nation (and in Texas, forty-five miles is a short trip to the
convenience store).
