(sorry for any cross-posting !)

I heard somewhere that in some countries or states volunteers can deduct a
certain amount from their taxable income, based on the time spent to
non-paid volunteer labour. The argument for this should be that donations
of money generally are tax-deductable, and that therefore 'donations of
time during which you can earn money' also should be deductable.
If anyone has information about this, can he/she let me hnow about it ?
If this system doesn't exist anywhere shouldn't we make out a good case for
this ?
