Consider this: Represent one or two of the "big" holidays of
non-Christian traditions on the appropriate dates throughout the year.
This way (false?) holiday competition would be eliminated and all (or at
least more) people would be included (if someone took the effort to do
the work...).

I also think that scaling things down would not hurt either.
