An associate working next to me says you can find information on coathangar
history in a series of booklets published by the CIBA-GEIGY chemical
company. These should be available in libraries, especially those serving
Universities with decorative arts programs. She says check the Texas Tech
Library. The booklet in question would probably date from the early 1900s.
