The Philadelphia Museum of Art is seeking full-time a Web Developer to
assist in the maintenance and enhancement of the museum's WWW site and the
creation and maintenance of  an Intranet site.  The position reports to the
Manager of Information Services


Responsibilities include:

-Provide technical expertise in the development and implementation of new
web based projects.
-Assist Museum's Web Manager in the maintenance of the current WWW site.
-Create and maintain Intranet site.
-Introduce and integrate new web media and technologies.
-Develop interfaces to current databases.


Requirements:

-Working knowledge of current HTML specifications.
-Working knowledge of CGI Programming, Javascript, UNIX tools and editors.
-Working knowledge of NT based tools and editors.
-Database / web integration.
-Familiarity with TCP/IP networks.
-Ability to install, maintain and troubleshoot web software and hardware.
-Ability to work on many projects simultaneously.
