Milwaukie, Oregon(May 31,l998) Chiaroscuro Painter Margret E. Short is
proud to
announce her on-line Gallery www.margretshort.com. The opening of her
Internet gallery features a free screen saver to down load entitled
"Limoges and Peony".and a wide selection of her work and a calendar of
events.

Short a former instructor at Clackamas Community College is represented
by Vanier Fine Art, Scottsdale, AZ and the Sovereign and the Rental
Sales Gallery in Portland,OR.

Short  has exhibited in the C.M. Russell Auction, Great Falls, MT, the
Gulf Coast Invitational, Biloxi, MS, the Gilcrease Museum, Tulsa, OK and
will be working with the Art in the Embassies Program, Washington, D.C.

Her oil paintings have appeared on the covers of Saks Fifth Ave
Magazine, OPBS Focus Magazine and Northwest Magazine.

Short is a member of the Oil Painters of America, the American Society
of Classical Realism, and the Women Artists of the West.

Margret Short's paintings are in collections throughout the United
States, as well as London ,England, and Japan.
