I'm posting this for a colleague, please do not respond to me.

The California Council for the Humanities (CCH), state affiliate of the NEH,
seeks a Coordinator for its museum program with the California Exhibition
Resources Alliance (CERA), an alliance of 25-30 small community-based museums.
Duties include helping CERA museums plan, fund, and present public humanities
programs, working with CERA members to identify and schedule appropriate
exhibits for circulation; coordinating block-booked tours, and helping prepare
proposals for the program's development. The position also includes
responsibilities for: planning and coordinating museum components of other
CCH-conducted projects; assisting museum applicants to the CCH competitive
grants program; counseling prospective applicants; reviewing proposals; and
monitoring and evaluating museum projects funded by CCH.
        Requires a Master's degree (humanities preferred) and experience working in
or with museums. Preferred: computer literacy, grant writing experience.
        Coordinator will work with the Council's San Francisco office. Starting
salary range is $31,500-$36,500. DOE/qualifications, + good benefits package.
