In the US there is the Society for Industrial Archeology which publishes a
journal, IA, edited by Patrick Martin at Michigan Technological University
in Houghton, MI.See their website at: http://www.ss.mtu.edu/IA/sia.html.
There is also the Early American Industries Association, but I can't locate
an address right now.

You might also look at my <A Historical Dictionary of American Industrial
Language> (Greenwood, 1988).
