Dear David Harvey,

I assume you are familiar with Joyce Hill Stoner's excellent article,
"Conservation Center Stage" in _Museum News_, May-June 1997. This should help
with many of your questions.

Regarding recent develpments, if you haven't yet done so, you must talk with
Ron Spronk (617/495 0987,
[log in to unmask]) at Harvard and look at their superbly clear
"Investigating the Renaissance" web site
(http://www.artmuseums.harvard.edu/renaissance/), a spin off of a successful
kiosk in their gallery.

Good luck with your project.
