MUSEUM CURATOR (20 hours per week). Morton Grove Park District.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Museum Studies, Museum
Administration or the equivalent is desired with one or two years experience
preferred. The candidate must be able to work well with people, especially
with volunteers; work independently with initiative; schedule and manage
time effectively; manage multiple projects; and meet deadlines. The curator
will work with and report to immediate supervisor and historical society
members. Must be able to work as part of the park district team.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The curator is responsible for the management and care of
collections a the Morton Grove Historical Museum. The qualified candidate
will also be responsible for collection research, exhibit planning and
development, and implementation of educational and recreational programs.
This is a part-time position. The museum curator will normally work a 20
hour week. There will be occasional evening meetings and weekend special
events.

SALARY RANGE: $270-$300 per week (IMRF Qualified)
