Hello all --
In our never-ending effort to make our visitors' experience as pleasant
as possible, we have been exploring "crazy-makers" (i.e. those little
things that make you crazy).
One of these revolves around restrooms. I have been asked to poll the
group regarding the use of "family/unisex restroom facilities". These
are those facilities which allow a dad and daughter or mom and son to
take care of "business" in an atmosphere that is potentially less
embarrassing.
All I'm asking for is examples from museums (your own) and/or other
facilities you might have experienced. Also, for those who have already
incorporated such facilities - are there any special considerations you
have taken into account regarding security, privacy, etc.?
In short -- Do you do it? Would you do it again? Have you seen it? How
does it work? What should we watch out for? Do your visitors like it?
Please feel free to be as verbose or succinct as you'd like. There are
no bad responses here.
Thanks a bunch for your help.
