> I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Jewel Tea dishes...

The Autumn Leaf pattern was produced by Hall China of Liverpool, Ohio
for the Jewel Tea Company beginning in 1933. It was a premium line
(given to customers of the Jewel Tea Company as a buying incentive), so
many pieces were only offered for a short time, to be replaced by other
pieces. Several other companies made complimentary items such as metal
trays and cannisters, linens, paper products, etc.

Current values for the individual pieces are available in any Hall China
Co. book, you should be able to find an up-to-date one on a large
antique dealer's bookshelf. I have a copy of "The Collector's Guide to
Hall China" that is about 10 years old. If you'd like to contact me
directly, I'd be happy to look up your pieces and send along any
information from this book.
