1) There are lots of websites to visit: search for «ecomuseum», «écomusée», «ecomusée», «écomuséologie» and «ecomuséologie» (careful: accents in french!). See also «économuséologie».

2) As a former assistant professor of History of Museums, I'm amazed with some replies to this request: how can a professional curator have no idea on this subject? Reprobation...
