The interpretive signage on the Texas Capitol
grounds sounds like something you might be
interested in. Each sign consists of a custom
rectangular cast bronze plaque with specified
text, a porcelain enamel-on-steel photograph
inset into a blockout in the bronze plaque, and
an all-aluminum pedestal base direct set into a
concrete foundation. Included is one additional
porcelain enamel photograph (identical to the
one installed) in case of vandalism. You might
want to simplify this design for your hall of
fame.
We use a local company for this work: Austin
Architectural Graphics, Inc. at 512/473-2075.
Good luck with the project.
