I am a museum studies student at the University of Toronto and am
presently doing some research work for one of my Professors. what I am
looking for is any museums that have in the past or more recently done an
Audit/Assessment of the cost of maintaining and managing their collection
as well as the cost of public access to the collection. The Public Access
portion is not necessary so much as the cost of managing collections
(meaning if you have done just one that is okay, I could use all the help
I can get). I don't know if this is something museums are doing very
much- this is what I will find out I suppose.

This is a rather quick search and I would greatly appreciate a response by
no later than Wednesday February 18, 1998. If your museum has done
something like I have described, could you please contact me directly at:

Or if you are trying to reach me after February 13:

I look forward to hearing from some of you and thank you in advance for
you assistance.
