I am pleased to announce a few changes which are being made to the bibliography
developed by Friedrich Waidacher, Jan Sas and myself.

First, the file, which had become VERY large, is being split into two parts, by
author. You will henceforth have a choice of two files to download. The first
will be all publications by authors, A to M, the second will be by authors, N
to Z.

Second, the text has been reformatted to insert a blank line between entries in
ALL versions, which will make the bibliography easier to read.

Finally, another 70 or so entries have been added since 1 January 1998. These
include some interesting forthcoming Sage publications.

Thanks to Jan Sas for his suggestions re: format changes and half the new
citations! Thanks also to Jean-François Bussières, our CWM Outreach Officer,
for implementing all the changes with his customary élan.

In the past month alone, 125 "hits" were recorded on the English introduction,
50 on the French and 42 on the German. Fritz, Jan and I hope you find the
bibliography useful.

THE UPDATED VERSION SHOULD BE LOADED ON OUR WEBSITE SOMETIME THIS WEEK (2-6 FEB
98).

To download the bibliography files, go to:

http://www.civilization.ca/cwm/cwmeng/cwmreeng.html

and select the introduction in English, French or German. Then follow the
instructions to download the Microsoft Word, WordPerfect or DOS versions of the
two files. PLEASE CHECK THE DATE OF THE UPDATE: THE LATEST VERSION WILL HAVE A
DATE IN LATE JANUARY OR EARLY FEBRUARY.
