You may have been reading about a new grant program from the Institute
of Museum and Library Services. My name is Christine Henry, and I am a
Program Specialist at the IMLS, and I have had some involvement with
this grant program. The program is called the National Leadership
Grant, and one of the focus areas is replicable museum and library
cooperative efforts. The first deadline was just last week, April 17,
1998. The grant review process will begin soon. After the first run
thorugh of this grant, the museum and library community will hear a lot
about the the types of projects which were funded and their successes.
