Job 1: Executive Director - new program
The Montana Heritage Preservation and Development Commission is seeking
applications for its Executive Director position. Duties include
directing all aspects of the acquisition, operation and management of
the Commission's heritage properties, including historic Virginia
City/Nevada City. The Director will run Commission properties, develop
strategies for protecting historic resources, prepare business plans,
and operate the sites on a self sustaining basis. Education and
experience preferred is 1) experience in managing a statewide program in
a large and diverse state; 2) an advanced degree in a field related to
this position; 3) five years managingsignificant programs that include
history and heritage aspects. Salary and benefits DOQ. Applications

The Lewis and Clark Bicentennial Commission is seeking qualifies
applicants for the position of Executive Director. Position duties
include directing and leading all aspects of the Lewis and Clark
Bicentennial, including planning and coordinating events statewide,
marketing, fund-raising, educational activities. Applications are due
