Are you aware of any evaluation going on of your or other's museum web
pages?
What sort is it -- front-end, formative or summative ( to use Visitor
Research terms) ?
Is it being related to visitor studies work in the museum or related
organization?

I'm preparing a paper for Museums & the Web '98, Toronto, and want a
more accurate view of what sort of user/usability study is going on in
the making and re-making of museum web sites.

Of course, the real question is what the relationship of web pages to
our museum philosophies, particularly those related to meaning making
and learning.

I would appreciate any help on this matter. Please respond to the list or

contact me by email. I will try to summarize any responses for
interested parties.

Thanks for your help,

Sincerely,

Lynne Teather,
