Peter,
I received several good suggestions for exhibit design software for use on a
Mac:
MiniCAD
(Mary Sievert provided the web address for Diehl Graphics w produces MiniCAD
7.0 as well as a simpler 2D drafting program called Blue Print.
www.diehlgraphsoft.com. May Sievert pointed out that MiniCAD 7.0 is
frequently used by builders)
Claris Draw
(another less expensive solution; proposed for in-house use. A trial
version can be down loaded at www.claris.com)
Adobe Dimensions was described to be designed with graphic artists in mind
Microspot's Macdraft 4.2 was also suggested for 2D renderings
Finally, Mark Vang suggested a new Adobe Illustrator plug-in with drafting
functions.
Hope this helps,
Cindy Schartman
(Thanks again to all of you who provided suggestions!)
