The Cons DistList (conservation distribution list) has several weekly
postings of conservation questions, answers and issues.   CoOL
(conservation online) is the archives of these moderated discussions.

On the same server at Stanford University is the new website for the AIC
(American Institute for Conservation).  It has general information on
conservation and fundamental information about selecting a conservator
and instructions for obtaining a professional recommendation based on
your location and needs (ultimately requires a phone call)
