You might be interested in attending the Winedale Museum Seminar - it
contains elements of essential museum information and would probably
help you lead your facility better because it includes not only admin.,
but also elements of collection care, exhibits, visitor services, etc.
Contact Kit Neumann, Texas Hist. Comm., 512/463-5156.  It's a 10 day
session, offered annually (just completed, unfortunately, for this
year). i realize that doesn't do you immed. good, but it would be
excellent training and you could do the book and personal information in
the mean time.
