Try the Oregon Historical Society and Fort Vancouver for early artifacts
from fur trade and settlement.  There is also a Hudson's Bay Company
collection (in Manitoba?), but that involves a bit more travel, perhaps
a net search could help find more about whats in the collection.  Hope
