     Hi all,

I am going to London the first week of November to do some
repatriation related stuff, some playing, some school-checking, etc.

I would like to ask the list a couple of questions. First, I would
like to restate my request for contact with graduates or current
students of UCL's Institute of Archaeology. I am interested in
speaking with anyone who has gone through (or is going through) the
Archaeological Conservation program or the Museum Studies (if it even
still exists as such) program. Contact is also welcome from anyone
else at other colleges or universities in London with programs in
Museum Studies (offering MPhil or PhD degrees) or related programs.

My other question, in the absence of funding for any more school, is
this: is there anyone on this list from an institution in the UK
(with a foreigner-friendly hiring policy) who thinks they MIGHT be
advertising for a position opening sometime in the near future who
would like to try and make time to meet with me while I am in town for
a little informational, get-to-know-you kind of interview? My
     background is collections management "stuff".

Yep, this is all very personal but this is a very tolerant list, for
the most part, as well as an extremely helpful one. I'd appreciate if
you respond to me OFF-LIST so that the annoyance factor is kept to a
minimum. Any and all responses are much appreciated.

     Jennifer
