Jose,
Hi!  we have exterior lighting on our main building and on reporduction
lampposts in our courtyard.  one suggestion, instead of a switch or
timer to turn on and off, have a solar photocell - you don't need to
mess with "hours", time changes, power outages and on a dark and nasty
day, the darkness will turn it on for you, making your building more
"cheerful" on the exterior, possibly bringing in a visitor who might not
have planned on stopping.
