Dear Lynn:

Climate Control Systems for an entire museum building are very technical
in nature and it is usually best to contact a Mechnical Engineer with
expertise in this specialized area of the museum environment.

Recently, Museum Services International served as a part of a Value
Engineering Study for the renovation of a science museum - where the
architects had designed a combination of 12 constant and variable volume
air handlers with associated return fans and outside air louvers
throughtout the renovated spaces. The Value Engineering Team suggested
as an alternative that the architects consider the consolidation of all
renovation air handling into a single custom designed field fabricated
air handler - and devlop the large air handler as an exhibit for museum
visitors. This alternative suggestion not only lowered the Capital Cost
by $ 147,000.00, but lowered the estimated annual maintenance cost by $
61,000.00. so as you can see, climate control systems require the
expertise of this type of Engineer for the proper design of a museum's
environment, cost control - with a bit of creativity thrown into the
equation.

Kind Regards
