Patrick: Couldn't agree more on visible storage...it's been happening for
quite a number of years. U.of B.C. Anthropology Museum at Vancouver was one of
the first....as was the U. of Florida Natural History in Gainesville (had an
object lending library as well). Corning Museum of Glass and the Strong Museum
are among the MANY, not even mentioning all the Children's Museums that have
been doing it successfully for ages and ages.  It's a pleasure to see that so
many art museums have initiated the practice. recently.   Jane Glaser
