allow me to purchase Claris FilemakerPro>>  Just a general comment-I have
used FilemakerPro for collection record keeping and, except for some
clumsy report features, found it to be perfectly adequate.  The genius, of
course, lies in designing the database.  Perhaps museums that use such
programs  could make the specs. readily available for other institutions
to use.
